FreshFinds - Privacy Policy

FreshFinds ("we," "our," or "us") operates the FreshFinds mobile application (the "App"). This Privacy Policy explains how we collect, use, disclose, and safeguard your information when you use our App. Please read this policy carefully. By using FreshFinds, you agree to the collection and use of information in accordance with this policy.

b. Information Collected Automatically

Location Data	Precise GPS coordinates (latitude and longitude) when you grant location permission, used to show nearby sellers and products
Device Information	Push notification device token (APNs token) for delivering notifications

c. Biometric Data

If you enable Face ID or Touch ID for quick login, biometric authentication is processed entirely on your device by Apple's LocalAuthentication framework. We do not collect, store, or transmit any biometric data. Your saved login credentials are stored securely in the iOS Keychain on your device.

2. How We Use Your Information

We use the information we collect to:

Create and manage your account
Connect buyers with nearby sellers based on location
Process and track orders between buyers and sellers
Enable real-time messaging between buyers and sellers
Send push notifications for order updates, new messages, and reviews
Verify seller identities and business credentials
Display reviews and ratings to help buyers make informed decisions
Resolve disputes between buyers and sellers
Moderate content to maintain a safe marketplace
Improve and maintain the App's functionality

3. How We Share Your Information

a. With Other Users

Sellers can see buyer names, delivery addresses, and order details for orders placed with them
Buyers can see seller names, business names, locations, ratings, and product listings
Chat participants can see messages and images exchanged in conversations
Reviews are visible to all users of the App

b. With Service Providers

c. For Legal Reasons

We may disclose your information if required by law, regulation, legal process, or governmental request, or to protect the rights, property, or safety of FreshFinds, our users, or others.

We do not sell your personal information to third parties.

4. Data Storage and Security

Your data is stored on Supabase's cloud infrastructure with encryption in transit (TLS/SSL) and at rest
Authentication credentials are managed by Supabase Auth with industry-standard security practices
Locally stored credentials (for biometric login) are secured in the iOS Keychain
Images (profile photos, product images, chat images, verification documents) are stored in secure Supabase Storage buckets
Database access is controlled through row-level security policies

While we implement reasonable safeguards, no method of electronic transmission or storage is 100% secure. We cannot guarantee absolute security.

5. Your Rights and Choices

Access & Update: You can view and update your profile information, addresses, and preferences at any time through the App
Location: You can enable or disable location services through your device settings. Disabling location may limit the App's ability to show nearby sellers
Push Notifications: You can manage notification preferences through your device settings
Account Deletion: You may request deletion of your account and associated data by contacting us at the email below. We will process your request in accordance with applicable law

6. Data Retention

We retain your personal information for as long as your account is active or as needed to provide services. If you request account deletion, we will delete or anonymize your data within 30 days, except where we are required to retain it for legal or legitimate business purposes (e.g., resolving disputes or complying with legal obligations).

7. Children's Privacy

FreshFinds is not intended for children under the age of 13. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 13. If we become aware that we have collected information from a child under 13, we will take steps to delete that information promptly.

8. Third-Party Links

The App may contain links to third-party websites or services. We are not responsible for the privacy practices of those third parties. We encourage you to review their privacy policies before providing any information.

9. Changes to This Policy

We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. We will notify you of any material changes by posting the updated policy within the App or by sending you a notification. Your continued use of the App after changes are posted constitutes acceptance of the revised policy.
